¡Tapas!
Here are a few pics from our annual Noche de tapas, a fun-filled evening for students and instructors alike. This year, each instructor took their small group on a tour of four or five tapas bars (no, not at all like the U.S. bars) in León´s historical centro and encouraged them to try some of the local favorites, including croquetas (a croquette filled with bechamel and ham), tortilla (Spanish omelet), aceitunas (olives), patatas caseras (homemade potato chips with hot sauce), calamares, and of course, pizza. In León, tapas are almost always included with the purchase of a beverage.
